Carlee Koenig, PTA
Carlee is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. While native to Arkansas, she has lived in Texas most of her life. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in Houston, where she served as Class President. She is currently finishing her Bachelors in Kinesiology as she works, with the hopes of applying to PT school in the upcoming years. She has been licensed since 2023, and joined the SROSM team in 2025.
Since graduating from her PTA program, she has continued learning, earning her Orthopedic Manual Therapy Specialization (OMTS), and has become level 1 Dry Needling Certified. She is also educated in Kinesiotaping, Cupping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. She is currently a member of the Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group through the American Physical Therapy Association.
Her love of physical rehabilitation and strength training began during her childhood, where she trained as a dancer for 17 years. She is trained in nearly every style, although excelled in contemporary and tap. At the age of 14 she joined a pre-professional dance company in Houston. Since retiring from dancing, she has enjoyed hiking, pilates, weight training, and maintaining her active lifestyle as best she can.
When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending her time shadowing SROSM Podiatrist, Doctor Jones, volunteering at her church, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
