Emily Paufler-Schifflin, PT
Emily is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who uses a holistic and evidence-based approach to tailor interventions to the individual and their priorities to achieve optimal function, confidence, and overall wellness. She has extensive experience in treating patients with chronic pain and other chronic health conditions, multiple injuries and traumas, neck and back pain, autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, PTSD, and those with complicated medical histories.
Emily studied at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology as a Distinguished Communicator, Summa Cum Laude. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of South Florida, where she represented her class as Academic Chair. While in DPT school, she had the privilege of studying and treating veterans at the James A. Haley Veteran’s Affair’s Inpatient Interdisciplinary Chronic Pain Clinic (CPRP). She is currently pursuing her Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) certification to build on her experiences at the CPRP to better serve those suffering with chronic pain as well as her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification to better support the active athlete.
