Jacob Jones, DPM

Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Jacob Jones is a board certified, fellowship trained reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a Texas A&M former student. He is an honors graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois where he was inducted into the Pi Delta Honor Society. He completed his residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served as chief resident during his final year. Following residency he completed an additional year of training in southern New Mexico where he received advanced training in lower extremity trauma, arthroscopy, elective reconstruction, sports medicine and total ankle arthroplasty.

Dr. Jones has special interests in foot and ankle sports injuries, cartilage restoration, deformity correction and arthritic conditions. Throughout his career he has studied and lectured on adult acquired flatfoot, total ankle arthroplasty, pediatric deformity correction, and trauma at national meetings and published in international journals. Prior to joining SROSM Dr. Jones spent the last two years in Southern New Mexico.

Away from work Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and his two dogs. He enjoys playing golf and is an avid Aggie athletics fan. He is thrilled to be joining SROSM and serve the foot and ankle needs of the community.
