Jason Laurita, MD

Dr. Jason Laurita is an Orthopedic Surgeon who is fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstructive Surgery, specializing in hip and knee replacement. He is trained in anterior-approach hip replacement, minimally-invasive posterior hip replacement, and robotic hip and knee replacements. He has a particular interest in a whole-patient approach to joint pain, working with the patient to provide a comprehensive solution that includes not only surgery but also the latest non-surgical methods to treat joint pain and improve overall health and fitness.
Dr. Laurita was born in the UK and grew up abroad, mostly in England and Lithuania. He speaks Lithuanian, French, and Russian. He received his Bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College in Maine, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD degree from Dartmouth Medical School. He completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, and an Adult Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital.
In his spare time, Dr. Laurita enjoys spending time with his wife Samantha and daughter Maggie. He is an avid musician, having performed professionally in rock bands after college. He is also an eager golfer with a very high handicap and hosts weekly board game nights.
